Mobile Detailing Technician

Join one of the fastest-growing mobile detailing companies in the Raleigh area. We’re looking for motivated, experienced detailers who want to earn well, work independently, and grow with a company that is committed to providing an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Perform high-quality interior and exterior detailing
  • Perform specialty services including mold removal, odor/vomit removal, ceramic coatings, paint correction, waxing, and more
  • Handle customer check-ins and check-outs
  • Collect customer payments
  • Recommend and upsell additional services when appropriate
  • Follow Clean Z’s cleaning checklists and quality standards to ensure every vehicle is completed thoroughly

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of full-time professional detailing experience
  • Strong knowledge of interior and exterior detailing products and techniques
  • Experience using steamers, ozone machines, extractors, drill brushes, pressure washers, vacuums, and other detailing equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsive
  • Professional communication skills and a customer-first mindset

Equipment Required

Technicians are responsible for providing their own:

  • Reliable vehicle
  • Vacuum
  • Pressure washer
  • Water tank
  • Extractor
  • Steamer
  • Ozone machine
  • Chemicals and detailing supplies

Compensation

  • $5,000/month base salary
  • 20% commission on upsells
  • Weekly pay
  • $70,000+ potential annual earnings including tips and commissions

Schedule & Independence

  • 6-day work week
  • Approximately 8 AM–5 PM
  • Work independently in the field while following Clean Z’s systems and standards
  • All customers, bookings, pricing, and scheduling are handled by Clean Z’s
  • All jobs and customers are provided by Clean Z’s
